Get yer WoW tokens fresh from the update now!
The rather controversial World of Warcraft Game Time Tokens are now LIVE! Now, all that's left is to wait and see how this turns out!
According to battle.net, the tokens will be available for $20 USD/$25 AUD from the in-game Shop, and will be set at a starting price of 30,000 gold in the Auction House (AH) across the Americas region. However, the price of the tokens at the AH will be left to the mercy of the fluctuating market in WoW, depending on player supply and demand.
At the moment, token purchases are limited to 10 within a 30-day period, according to the update posted on battle.net, this limit may be adjusted over time.
Furthermore, although WoW tokens will be available immediately from the Shop, Blizzard warns that there may be a delay before tokens put up for sale on the AH become available for purchase with gold.
The launch of the WoW tokens in other regions are yet to be announced.
