Fable Legends is a multiplayer online quest-adventure game developed by Lionhead Studios, which will be available on XBox One and Windows 10 (...What? There's no love for Windows 7 or 8?). It is currently in closed beta.
The gameplay includes some elements of MMOs, like questing, as well as multiplayer 'arena' fighting. The arena aspect of the game can be somewhat liken to the arena Player vs Player that you can find in MMOs. However, instead of a fair match of 4 heroes vs 4 villains, in Fable Legends, you'll be fighting against 1 human villain... But if you think your team can just steamroll him over? Well, think again! The villain will have a whole host of minions under his command in addition to his skills of setting up traps. It'll take all of the heroes' wits and skills in order to best the villain!
Its unique gameplay seems extremely exciting, I know, but now for the best part... it is announced that the game will be completely free-to-play!
In fact, the game director himself has released a video with pledges on how the free-to-play will not be a pay-to-win. In Fable Legends, every quest, every content are completely available to even free-to-play players, so there will be no pay-walls in this game in order to proceed.
Secondly, the dev assures potential players that the game will be fair to both spenders and free-to-play players. both groups of players will be on equal footing since everything that can affect the gameplay -i.e. can make your character stronger- can be earned in the game!
Lastly, the game promises to be generous to its players, so you can expect plenty of events and goodies coming your way if you're active within the Fable Legends community!
With all these pledges in addition to the game being a free-to-play and its very distinctive gameplay, Fable Legends is a game to watch out for!

P/S: Unfortunately, I am unable to review this game, despite having signed up for its multiplayer beta, due to not owning an XBox 1 or have a Win 10 computer. Don't worry though! I'll do my best to keep you guys updated with news from this exciting new game!
