The highly-awaited MMORTS based on World War II by Nival, Blitzkrieg 3, has finally entered its second closed alpha phase on 26th of February.
And, the best part is... they have recently announced that they will be adopting a pay-once-to-play model instead of having a premium account (subscription-based) and will have no microtransactions.
It was said that the Nival decided upon adopting this model as opposed to its previous much more confusing one due to wanting to use a "classic distribution model of the series, thus honoring the series’ traditions."
However, it's not sure whether this method may work well enough for this game, but we'll just have to wait and see.
