Outer Wilds: Space Adventuring, Indie-style

Venture into the vast unknown of an immersive virtual solar system in this exciting new indie game, Outer Wilds!

You are the banjo-strumming astronaut in Outer Wilds (refer to the pic above). In this game, you'll be given 20 minutes to explore any many planets as you can in your tiny little spacecraft before the sun goes into supernova and decimate the planets within the solar system.

Exploration is key to the game! So, if you have plenty of curiosity, a love for everything outer space and a sense of adventure ("It's an adventure out there!" - Ellie, UP), Outer Wilds is surely the game that will flip your many switch/es. This game has so many alien worlds, each one filled with their own marvelous inhabitants and astonishing-looking environment! Granted that the graphics in this game will never be up to par with games developed on more sophisticated engines, they still provide that charming casual feeling to the game.

Since I've played the game on my PC, I've got to say that, in terms of controls, this game has quite a long way to go. They made controlling and landing your spaceship rather a challenge. However, this game is currently in its Alpha stage and many of its clumsy controls are pretty much excusable. After all, the site even stated that it's best to play this game using an Xbox 360 gamepad... which I was unfortunate enough not to own.

It's a fight against time as you strive to check out as many planets as you can before the sun goes boom! How many can you cover? Download the game for free today (link is placed down below) and try it out!
