Halo is Going Free-to-Play and on PC... Exclusively in Russia

The Master Chief is going to Russia, comrades!

Halo Online is set on a secret UNSC space installation called Anvil, where Spartan-IV soldiers train together in war exercises to sharpen their battle skills and test experimental technology.

Halo Online's closed beta is launching soon in Russia... only, unfortunately. Anyhow, here are some of the FAQs that you might be interested to know... in brief!

• The game is tailored for PC only - sorry, Xbox Oners!
• The game is tailored for Russian gamers - sorry, the rest of the world!
• Will Halo Online be released in other countries? Possibly, but now they are focusing on the Russian gaming demographic first.
• No tentative launch date is set, but the closed beta is launching in spring (within these few months).
• The game will be using Halo 3's engine that is suitable for lower-end PCs
• No campaign mode - it is multiplayer only

This is all new and very unexpected... stay tuned as we find out more about this amazing new game (if only it is available worldwide, of course)!
